My Current Objective:
To work in an exciting fast-paced, challenging environment, where I would be able to leverage and enhance my web development skills.
Background/Bio:
I started out in a corporate library where I was in charge of HTML Production & Layout Design for an Intranet site. I contributed to a fast-paced, time-sensitive, and continuously changing web environment with department managers (Marketing and IT team) to provide research information to the analyst community. Within a year I slowly made a transition to the Online Services department where I assisted staff members edit static HTML pages for an Extranet site. I soon began work on the corporate site which was a dream come true. I not only ensured all HTML code was 508 compliant, but I got the opportunity to work with Javascript, and CSS. Soon after, I started creating banners & other images using Adobe Photoshop to promote company events as well as improving user experience on the corporate web site. And I thought to myself, this was only the beginning. There was more out there to learn and I wanted to learn more. It soon became a thirst that needed quenching. And that’s when I met DashingJ, who brought me deeper into PhotoShop and helped to think more outside the box when it comes to web development.
After years of working with DashingJ on various projects which involved ASP, Javascript, CSS, HTML, and XML i had the pleasure of working with The Codesigner who introduced me to Macromedia Fireworks and Dreamweaver. With his knowledge and an eye for detail, I soon started to use Fireworks and Dreamweaver to further improve my web development skills. Not long after that, the DataBrit came into play with his programming skills in ASP, PHP, and Javascript to name a few; and lend a helping hand on various projects.
As one can see, everyone has something to bring to the table. And I have acquired some knowledge from each and everyone of them. Trust me when I say, you cannot go wrong with YourWebTeam. That’s the only team you need.
